Located in beautiful Hamden, Connecticut just 15 minutes from downtown New Haven, Connecticut, ceremonies can take place in our garden terrace or next to our cascading waterfall. Not only is our venue picturesque, but we can offer several close by first look locations that are unique to the area.
Cascade was started back in 2004 by Pietro and Antonietta Landino and have been joined by their daughters, Rosamaria, Sara and Alexa in running the family business. Cascade got its name from the Italian word for waterfall, cascata. The Cascade waterfall is a beautiful backdrop for any occasion and is accompanied by the flowering waterlilles which has special meaning to the Landino family. Waterlilles are delicate, elegant and beautiful which embodies all of the characteristics that the family built into Cascade Fine Catering.
Many of the extra touches that Cascade offers come from the family’s travels where they have brought back unique food experiences such as the gourmet pasta dish created in a cheese wheel and a pyramid of dessert spoons. In the front foyer and grand ballroom, guests are treated to an elegant atmosphere showcasing a Persian Rug and magnificent Austrian crystal chandeliers.
